About the Thistlelonians
The Thistlelonians was formed in 1994 to encompass the ex-students and staff of McKinnon High School/McKinnon Secondary College. Our goal is to celebrate and facilitate communication and involvement amongst the past and present college community.
All of our fundraising endeavours are proudly channeled direclty back to the College.

Grand Reunion 2024
The 2024 Grand Reunion bookings are now open. Tickets are available here.
The 2024 Grand Reunion will be held at the McKinnon Road Campus on Saturday, 26th October, and will encompass ex-students and staff of McKinnon from the following years: 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1994, 2004, 2014, 2019 and Covid catch-up groups 1990 and 1991.
We would love your support and encourage you to contact classmates and attend this great night! Partners and friends are welcome. Drinks at bar prices and finger food including hot fresh pizza will be available.
Please note - if you are from the class of 1959 (65 years since graduating) & 1974 (50 years since graduating) - you will be receiving an invitation to attend your special 50th Anniversary Afternoon Tea, also to be held on Saturday, 26th October from 2-4 pm.
