McKinnon Secondary College
Students from the Year 11 and 12 Music classes visited the Palais Theatre to see the Stage Orchestral of Mozart's Abduction, the current production of Victorian Opera. McKinnon Alumni Chloe James is performing in the cast.
Students were able to hear from the Creative Team about how an Opera is staged, and watched the singers and orchestra come together for the first time, in costume and with sets. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn how professional musicians prepare for performance. Students were also invited to attend the night time shows to see the final product.
