Child safety in Victorian schools is a collective responsibility and at McKinnon Secondary College, this is headed by a Child Safety Officer at each campus. This individual provides support, expertise, and guidance on child safety policies and practices for staff, students, and parents, acting as a central point of contact for concerns and helping to promote a strong child safety culture in line with Ministerial Order 1359.
